The coverage surrounding Ai is exhausting. I wanted to understand what—and who—was behind this term that is now unavoidable. While researching the development of our Information Age, a familiar pattern kept recurring. What started as an attempt to understand artificiality and computation unraveled into a history that was surprisingly human and childlike. 

 

I created Storyboard: Part 01 not as an assignment or monetization, but to slow down a world spinning too fast to keep up. This untold story captures its subjects by using their contributions as the medium. The site launches using the raw Unicode character set built into your device. The pieces animate at the reader's pace to depict pivotal moments, ideas realized by this game, and the players who unknowingly pushed each other to move.
